When a baby is born in a larger system, they are typically directed to a pediatrician within that system, and ultimately their child ages out of that pediatrics provider’s care. New parents aren’t informed about the fact that they don’t need to go to the larger system for their baby’s care.

Family Medicine providers are trained in Pediatrics, but since we aren’t strictly Pediatrics providers, children won’t age out of our care.
